How I remember Summer

We were learning how to use alliteration in our writing. Alliteration is where you use words starting with the same letter.

That Was Summer!
I remember smelling the beautiful and sweet flowers.

I remember tasting the really bad taste of the salty sea water.

I remember seeing lots of buzzing bees and butterflies.

That was summer

I remember feeling all of the soft , green grass

I remember hearing so many annoying cicadas and their clicking.

That was summer.

  3. Hi,

I like how you described your memories of summer. Maybe you should add more detail next time like, I remember how the waves disappear in the sand like magic. Which memory was your favourite?

  5. Hi there Julia! I loved your little writing about summer and I think that you have done a great job of using alliteration. It's really short but detailed and that's the important thing. The best alliteration line that you have written to me is seeing lot's of I remember seeing lots of buzzing bees and butterflies.
buzzing bees and butterflies. Great job and keep up the great work!
