What will you do? by Ashton

In writing we have been learning to write persuasive aguments about plastic bags and if we think they should be banned first we did a question to hook the reader in then we answered it for what we think then we tell you facts that are sad so you will not want to use them. What I felt fun was finding about all of this stuff . What I felt challenging was thinking what to say
Would you eat a plastic bag? ¨Yeah... I would not too!¨ Most turtles die from plastic bags they should be banned!!!

Don't litter, do you know what happens to one piece of plastic? Well I do and you do not want to know. Imagine a garbage truck full of plastic that is being dumped into the sea every minute.

Plastic is dangerous and it kills marine life. It contains dangerous chemicals like petroleum. Don't let or put plastic in the drain to go to sea. It is cruel because you know what will happen.

I know, that you know, we will do the right thing to save the seas.

I really liked how told us what you were doing and what your process was. I really liked how you pulled us in with that question. I totally agree that plastic bags should be banned they are polluting the world and are not good for the environment. Two weeks ago in sewing we made reusable bags that are good for the environment.

    Yours Sincerely Grace

  9. Hi Ashton,

I like how you added glowing words to your post because it's eye catching. Imagine scrolling down and only seeing black and white. Anyway back to the topic. Ocean life is important, my Dad always talk about plastic doing bad things. Don't worry, it isn't annoying. I always this about the plastic. To be honest I think it's too late to do anything now. People only do things when it's a problem, not fixing it in the first place.

Next time you should write more about land animals, land animals are also having problems with plastic. How does the chemical damage the body of a sea creature? How many rubbish are there in the ocean?

I look forward to your next post.

  17. Hey Ashton!
I think it is great that you are helping making people aware of the plastic in the ocean that is killing the turtles. DO you want to keep trying to help them when your older? Maybe you could be one of the people who help save them?
