In P.E. Mrs McG gave us a challenge. We have been learning about balance for the past couple of weeks. She tested us with this course. We had to travel along the playground, balancing on the obstacle course without using our hands. It was really hard to get past the black tube part of the playground because it wobbled as we went across it. It was hard to balance on it. It was a fun challenge. Next time Mrs McG said we are doing one on the Junior Playground. We all had a couple of turns at it, only 1 person managed to complete the task successfully.
We have learnt that to balance you need to use your arms to hold yourself steady, you need to use your muscles to support your body.

Good work guys - What great balancing! I can see from the photos, you are concentrating and using a wide range of muscle groups and that at times it is extremely tricky. It would be interesting to see if you can create some balance tasks / games using the campfires site and groups of students.
